jay cooke state park

We just got home from a quick overnight trip to visit Nathan’s good friend Seth, who recently purchased a house in Duluth. On the way up we stopped at Jay Cooke State Park, where Nathan remembers visiting when he was young. There is a swinging bridge at the park that is over the St. Louis River which in summertime has big time rapids. Unfortunately the water was still pretty frozen, although at times when you were walking around on the snow you could hear the water rushing under your feet – creepy! Here are some photos I snapped:
