I say it all the time, but I just love six month photo sessions. Anya’s session was complete with a sweet baby girl in black and white (love this!), a pink tutu, delicious baby rolls, a bare bottom, and plenty of toe-sucking and hat-eating. What more could I ask for? Enjoy the preview!

My cousin’s daughter Lucy Marie turned three earlier this month – what a big girl! We usually wait until spring to do her photo sessions, but this year with the mild weather we decided to have a play date at Como Zoo & Conservatory. Here’s a sneak peek!

I met up with the wonderful D family while Francisco and Maria were home from their winter break. We met at the Walker Art Center – I just love doing sessions here! This is one of my favorite families to be around – photographing them is a plus! They are a beautiful family – inside and out. Enjoy the images!

Baby girl Norah Jean was the perfect baby to finish off 2011 with. She slept through the ENTIRE SESSION! That doesn’t happen often and it sure is a treat when it does! Thank you Nick and Tiffany for welcoming me into your home and congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter!

I met up with the S family at the Walker Art Center last week. Barb did an amazing job styling her family for this session! I love the deep rich colors and how they pop against the white modern lines at the Walker. What a great looking family!

Baby girl Addison is a sweet little bundle! This little girl loves to have her feet straight up and out. It was so funny trying to get her to cross her legs and tuck them in! We’d get her all set and one or both would just pop right out again! She has a super crafty mama who made her adorable Santa hat – so adorable that I just have to have one of my own for my next December baby session. Congratulations Joel and Leanna and welcome to the world baby Addison!

Baby boy Luke was so calm and sweet during his photo session – just a perfect little boy! Big brothers Henry and Charlie were super cooperative too, especially after a promise of stickers! I photographed Henry about three years ago when he was a newborn and the new baby looks identical to him. He sure is loved by his brothers – I just love the last photo of the three boys together!

Welcome to baby girl Ainsley! I was so excited to meet this sweet little one. I have had the most crafty mamas this year – Ranae was no exception with the cute little headband she made Ainsley – so pretty in pink. Congratulations Jeremy and Ranae! It is so fun to see the two of you as parents!

This was the second year photographing the J family and it was so fun to see Collin again! At two and a half he is a talkative, curious, observant little boy…and a super fast runner! Our session took place on a blustery day, but we had a lot of fun exploring the Mill City riverfront area. Here’s a sneak peek!

jack william :: one year

Little man Jack turned one in October and is such a big boy! He walks and runs all over the place, climbs stairs, finds sticks – all the things one year old boys do! Our first attempt at a session at Jack’s house didn’t turn out too well. He was not feeling good and was not his usual happy self, so we decided to postpone and try again, this time at the Walker Art Center. It was a sunny, windy day and we had fun exploring the sculpture gardens and museum lobby areas. Here’s a sneak peek!
